Tahilra Mccants was born and raised in Alabama and moved to New York at the age of 12, a transition that shaped her resilience, adaptability and deep appreciation for community. As a mother of five children; two currently in undergraduate school and one pursuing a graduate degree, she spent most of her life nurturing, guiding and advocating for children at every stage of development.

Her personal journey as a parent sparked her passion for early childhood education and inspired her to open her own daycare. She understands firsthand the importance of providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment where children can grow, learn and thrive. Owning a daycare allows her to combine her life experience, cultural background and commitment to families to support during their most formative years.
